Mr. Arijit Ray-Chaudhuri

AJ graduated from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' University in 2003. He then worked as a general dentist for 2 years before becoming a hospital dentist to further his dental knowledge and experience. He worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillo-facial surgery, Prosthetics, Oral Medicine and Periodontology, Conscious Sedation and Restorative Dentistry. During this training he completed his diplomas of Membership at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He also read law at Cardiff University and completed his Masters degree.
AJ then embarked upon 5 years of formal Consultant training at King's College and St George's Hospitals in London. He obtained experience in providing complex root canal treatments, gum surgery, crowns, bridges, dentures and implants.
During his training he has taught dentists and allied health professionals locally, regionally and nationally. AJ has also published extensively in scientific journals on a variety of topics related to his specialty and has conducted research which has been published in an international journal. In addition to this, he was awarded an Honorary Lecturership at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and examines for the MJDF examination. He has also completed a post-graduate certificate in teaching and is an Associate of the Higher Education Authority.
AJ has recently been awarded his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics and Prosthodontics.
In his spare time he enjoys travelling, photography and football.
Dr. Adrian RJ Curtis

Specialist in Oral Surgery

Adrian graduated from Queen's Belfast in 1990 and achieved his Fellowship in 1995 from the Royal College of Surgeons in London. His post-graduate training was in Oral Surgery in hospitals throughout the UK. He currently lives in Buckinghamshire and works as an Associate Specialist in Oral Surgery at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury where he is also Clinical Director for Oral Surgery & Orthodontics. He undertakes private specialist Oral Surgery in South Buckinghamshire.
His main interests are in dento-alveolar surgery particularly in relation to orthodontic treatment, peri-radicular surgery and the management of children with cleft lip and palate. He is actively involved in teaching to all members of the dental team and to colleagues in other medical and nursing specialties.

Dev is a specialist in Anaesthesia for special care dentistry. He provides Sedation services for our patients at the practice.
Dr Mital Patel

Mital graduated in dentistry, with honours, from Cardiff University in 2012 and attained the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2013.
After working in general dental practice, Mital subsequently spent two years as a Senior House Officer in various hospitals around the country where he has gained wide-ranging experience in oral surgery and restorative dentistry, before deciding to pursue a career in periodontics.
Mital has completed an intensive four-year specialist programme in periodontology at Guy's Hospital (Kings College, London) and attained the Membership in Periodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2019. He is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology, The European Federation of Periodontology and European Association of Osseointegration. and works as a part time specialist clinical teacher at Guy's Hospital. He has a particular interest in treating nervous patients with sedation and is a member of SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry).
Mital joined Conway House in 2019 and is enthusiastic about treating patients with a wide variety of complex gum problems. As a specialist periodontist he is experienced in providing all aspects of periodontal care, bone reconstruction and the placement of dental implants. He additionally accepts referrals for the management of failing dental implants.
Dr. Steffen Decker

Dr. Steffen Decker - is a specialist orthodontist, Who has recently been awarded the No.1 IncognitoTM Lingual brace provider in the world. Lingual braces are an invisible or hidden brace system which allows the gentle straightening of the teeth by placing the brace on the inside. This is known as lingual orthodontics and allows the teeth to be straightened without being noticeable, like traditional braces or Invisalign® which attach to the front-facing aspect of the teeth. Dr. Steffen intensively studied this type of brace and gained an additional Masters degree in advanced lingual orthodontics.
Having completed his primary dental training and his specialist training in Freiburg (Germany), Dr. Steffen is well trained in interceptive early treatment options for children as well as fixed braces - both traditional and lingual. He has treated over 900 lingual orthodontic patients and was a member of the global advisory board for 3M as the clinical advisor for western Europe.
Dr. Steffen only uses the most advanced technology and techniques to deliver the highest quality of care for his patients. This involves using digital smile design and intra-oral digital scanning in order to ensure his patients receive the best results.
His commitment to his patients is only rivalled by his passion to teach. He regularly provides seminars and lectures globally on the subject of lingual orthodontics.
Dr. Emma Ray-Chaudhuri

Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry
Emma is our in-house Specialist in Paediatric dentistry and focuses her care on improving the oral health of our younger patients. She has extensive experience in managing dental trauma, dental decay, and cosmetic treatment in children.
Emma has a particular interest in providing care for children with developmental conditions such as Molar-Incisor Hypomineralisation (MIH), Hypomineralised primary molars, and Hypodontia.
She also has extensive experience in providing minimally invasive dentistry such as Hall crowns, selective caries removal, and Silver Diamine Fluoride.
She is adept at behavioral management techniques for anxious children and qualified to provide inhalation sedation (happy gas).
Emma qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2009 and was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011.
Emma completed her Specialist training between King’s College Hospital in London and the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals culminating in a Membership in Paediatric Dentistry of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Emma was awarded an Honorary Lectureship at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and continues to teach dentists locally and nationally and has had several papers published in international scientific journals.
Outside of work, she spends most of her free time walking in the Surrey and Sussex countryside with her family and keeping her young children entertained.
